Who Lives in Your Heart? Heart reveal craft
LOVE HEART: "Who lives in you heart? Allah".
Surah Al-Insan, Verse 8:
وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا
And feed with food the needy wretch, the orphan and the prisoner, for love of Him.
❤️ Who Lives in Your Heart? – Islamic Heart Reveal Craft
This simple little craft is a lovely way to get children thinking about who and what should have a special place in our hearts.
The heart begins with a question:
“Who lives in your heart?”
When children squeeze the peg, the heart opens to reveal the answer hidden inside. ❤️
For this example, the surprise is:
⭐ Allah ⭐
✂️ You will need
- Red card or thick paper
- A wooden or plastic clothes peg
- Yellow card for the hidden piece
- Scissors
- Glue
- Black marker
❤️ How to make it
1. Cut a large heart from red card.
2. Cut the heart horizontally through the middle to create a top and bottom section.
3. Write “Who lives in your heart?” across the front.
4. Glue the top half of the heart to the upper part of the peg and the bottom half to the lower part.
5. Cut a small shape from yellow card and write “Allah” on it.
6. Attach it behind the heart so that it appears when the peg is squeezed open.
7. Let the children squeeze the peg and discover who is hiding inside their heart!
