Salaam Circle Craft
Our Salaam Circle Craft is a beautiful way to help children understand that every Muslim is part of one caring community. As the children hold hands in a circle around the heart, they are reminded that kindness, friendship, and the greeting of "Assalamu Alaykum" bring us closer together.
The flap hearts in the centre makes this activity extra special. Children can say"Wa Alaykum Salaam", a kind message, or the name of someone they would like to greet with salaam. It's a simple but meaningful reminder that spreading peace begins with us.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saww) taught us to spread salaam among one another. A smile, a warm greeting, and kind words can brighten someone's day and strengthen the bonds of our community.
✨ Ideal for:
Toddlers and preschoolers
Madrasah and homeschool activities
Circle time and group discussions
Muharram, Ramadan, and year-round Islamic learning
As children colour, assemble, and share their creations, encourage them to practise greeting one another with a smile:
"Assalamu Alaykum!"
"Wa Alaykum Salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh!"
May Allah (swt) help our children grow into young believers who spread peace, love, and kindness wherever they go. 🤍
