🚢🖍️ My Flag for Imam Husayn (a.s.) – Handprint Craft

Little hands can carry a big message! ❤️

This simple flag activity helps our little ones think about some of the beautiful lessons we learn from Imam Husayn (a.s.) — to stand for truth, justice, honour and courage, even when we are small.

Children can colour their flag using crayons, pencils or paints, then make it extra special by adding their own handprint. ✋🎨

As they create, talk to them about how their hands can be used for good — helping others, being kind, speaking the truth and standing up for what is right.

✂️ How to make it:

1. Print the flag template.

2. Let your child colour and decorate their flag.

3. Add their handprint using child-safe paint.

4. Cut out the flag and attach it to a straw, lolly stick or wooden dowel.

5. Display it proudly as a reminder: “I learnt this from Imam Husayn (a.s.).” ❤️

A lovely, easy activity for younger children to connect the message of Imam Husayn (a.s.) with something personal — their very own little handprint.
