The story of Karbala teaches us the value of every drop of water. This interactive Sabeel Water Craft helps children remember the sacrifice of Imam Husayn (a.s.) and the loyalty of Hazrat Abbas (a.s.) through a fun, hands-on activity.
Children colour the different drinks, then cut out the moving strip and thread it through the slits behind the tap. As they slide the strip from side to side, it looks as though the tap is magically filling each cup with a different drink—bringing the idea of a sabeel to life in a way that is engaging and memorable.
Alongside the craft, children can learn the dua before and after drinking water and remember Karbala each time they take a drink. It's a beautiful opportunity to discuss gratitude for Allah's blessings and to remember those who endured thirst for the sake of truth.
