Lower the gaze of the muslim boy!
A fun, hands-on activity to help children understand the beautiful Islamic teaching of lowering our gaze — with a playful twist on the classic “Pin the Tail” party game!
Children can be blindfolded, gently spun around, then take turns trying to place the lowered-gaze face piece onto the Muslim boy. Afterwards, use the activity to talk about how Allah teaches us to look away from things we should not be looking at and to keep our eyes respectful and modest.
It’s a simple way to turn an important lesson into something children can play, practise and remember — modesty isn’t only in the way we dress, but also in the way we look and act.
