πLady Fatimah Masuma (sa) Shrine Craft
Learn about Lady Fatima Masumah (sa) while creating your very own little shrine-inspired model! This simple cut, colour and fold activity combines creativity with a few memorable facts about this special lady.
Children can make the colouring version themselves, or use the coloured version as inspiration.
πΈ What children will learn
As they work their way around their model, children discover little facts about Lady Fatimah Masuma (sa), including that she was the sister of Imam Ridha (a.s.), that she travelled towards her brother, and her connection with the holy city of Qum.
The front also gives children a beautiful opportunity to practise saying:
Assalamu Alayki Ya Fatima Masuma (sa) β€οΈ
βοΈ How to make it
1. Print the template onto light card.
2. Colour in the shrine, dome, flowers and pictures.
3. Carefully cut around the outside of the template.
4. Fold along the marked lines to form the sides.
5. Glue the tab to join the model together.
6. Stand up the dome sections and your little Fatima Masuma (sa) shrine craft is ready!
Children could even place a little written dua or message for Lady Fatima Masuma (sa) inside.
π A lovely activity for...
This craft works beautifully for a wiladat programme, wafat commemoration, learning about Qum, Imam Ridha (a.s.) and his family, or as part of a ziyarat-themed activity.
A little craft, a little colouring, and a beautiful way to help our children build their love and knowledge of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.). ππΈ
