Inspired by the beautiful words of Bibi Zainab (a.s.), “I saw nothing but beauty,” this activity helps children understand that sometimes we need the right lens to truly see what is in front of us.

At first, the page may look like a jumble of colours and scribbles. But when children place the special red lens over it, hidden words and pictures begin to appear. In the same way, Bibi Zainab (s.a) looked at the immense hardships of Karbala through the lens of faith, patience, courage and trust in Allah. Where others saw only loss and difficulty, she recognised sacrifice, truth and devotion to Allah.

It gives children a simple but powerful message:

What we see can depend on the lens we choose to look through.
