Forest Majlis – Remembering Imam Husayn (a.s.) in Allah's Creation

As we walk through Allah's beautiful world, we slow down, breathe deeply, and remember Him.

The trees, flowers, birds, insects, stones and flowing wind are not silent. Allah tells us in the Qur'an that everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him, even though we may not understand how they praise Him.

When we say "SubhanAllah" as we discover His creation, we are joining in that beautiful dhikr.

For those who love Imam Husayn (a.s.), nature also reminds us of Karbala. Our scholars narrate that the heavens, the earth, the angels, the animals and even the inanimate creation grieved for Imam Husayn (a.s.) after his martyrdom. His sacrifice was so great that all of creation mourned him.

Today, as we explore this forest, let it become our outdoor majlis.

• 🐦 Watch the birds flying above.

• 🐞 Notice the tiny creatures beneath your feet.

• 🌳 Feel the rough bark of a tree.

• 🪨 Hold a stone in your hand.

Each discovery is a reminder that Allah is the Creator, and every part of His creation points us back to Him.

As you complete your Nature Hunt, remember to whisper:
"SubhanAllah."

And in your heart say:
"Ya Husayn."
